Tucked away at the top of one of Collioure’s prettiest flower filled streets lies 24 Rue Bellevue, directly looking over the sea from the cliff top. This beautiful, ancient property sleeps two couples in comfort and uniquely, is positioned in its own delightful private garden.
The fishing village of Collioure was central to the inspiration of the Fauvist art movement in the early 20th Century. Evidence of this can be found in every corner of Collioure.
The Fauves, or ‘Wild Beasts’ were a group of non-conformist Artists who explored spontaneous, vibrant colour with often a subjective response to nature.
